I followed your vid and it all seemed to work as planned, except it did not install SuperSU. I went ahead and installed it from Google Play, but it says the is no Binary for the SU and it can't install it. I read in the Youtube comments that others have had this issue. Is there a fix that you know of?
Hey Kevin I know this is an old post I'm trying to root my s3 again but my port isn't working so I can't use ODIN, however I'm getting the same su error, when you say reset do you mean factory reset? Thx Ivan
Kevin; I'm wanting to root my phone for basically one reason, that is to use the hotspot without having to pay for what I've already got on my sprint Galaxy SIII. Will this root still allow me to do that?
when i click on supersu after rooting it says no su binary installed nd supersu cannot install it. it says i hve to manually re root consult the relevant forums for my device. how do i do that
I have 2 sprint devices: galaxy s3 (4.3) and galaxy note 3 (4.4). All I really want to do is enable wifi hotspot/tether for free and get rid of bloatware. Your video is pretty straightforward but do I need Cyanogenmod? can you give me a play by play of the files I need? mhosk3235@gmail.com
